What it does
A reporting layer that keeps the definition of every metric next to the metric itself. When two teams disagree about a figure, Lumen shows which one is using the old definition.
Most reporting arguments are not about the data. They are about whose definition of "active customer" is in play, and nobody can tell without opening a query.
Lumen stores the definition alongside the number. Every figure on every dashboard can be expanded to show the rule, the source tables and when the rule last changed. Change a definition and every report that uses it updates, with the old version kept for comparison.
